This AR-556® Sling Swivel Adapter makes it easy to install a two-point sling for carrying your AR-556. The adapter attaches securely to the AR-556's round mil-spec handguard. It accommodates slings up to 1.25 inches wide. The kit includes the mounting adapter components and swivel. All components are made from high-quality, e-coated steel, making them highly durable and wear resistant. Installs in minutes without the use of tools. Available in black only. Ruger fixed my problem 4/1/2022
I ordered this item for my Ruger AR-556,once before they sent me another one to replace the damaged one I received.The second one that came in works just great!..Thank you again!

Threads are too loose,don’t trust. 3/18/2022
The kit came sooner than expected.However,it didn’t work well for me.Threads on the swivel did not match the threads on the adapter.I can’t use this,it wouldn’t be safe to carry a loaded rifle.

The washer is too thick 9/15/2020
The included washer is too thick to use with a harris bipod. It doesnt allow the bipod cradle to snug to the handguard.

The washer is too thick 9/4/2020
The washer is too thick making the stud too far from the handguard to attach a harris bipod correctly. That is the only reason i bought this thing.
