This right-handed, rust colored, leather holster is compatible with 2.25" barrels for Ruger SP101® double-action revolvers. This Ruger branded, hi-ride, open-muzzle holster is designed to be worn inside the waistband for maximum concealment. The heavy-duty, spring-steel clip fits belts up to 1.75" wide. For added versatility, this holster is designed so that you may carry cross draw or strongside. Conceal and securely carry your Ruger double-action revolver with the Bianchi® Waistband holster. Dangerous poorly fitting holster fpr SP101 12/22/2015
I own many Rugers and SP is my first revolver. I thought this a good basic starter holster. Boy was I wrong. There is NO way the gun can be forced into this holster. The retaining clip is about to burst off the side, trigger guard is still exposed. Not what I want in my waistband pointed at my thigh. Yes I have had quality holsters that are tight and need breaking in. This is not the case, just poorly made and probably never test fitted. I am a construction worker, strong enough and I cant get my SP101 into the holster without doing some damage. My SP101 is a gem and deserves better. Yours probably too. Dont waste your money on this item. Please Ruger remove this from your store. Its an insult to your product.
