| These are very nice grips.
I have been switching them between my Govt and CMD length SR1911s and they look great on both.
The laser engraving is sharp and well defined, the wood grain and wing design is even on both sides.
These are cocobolo grips made by Altamont.
They are an excellent value, especially when compared to other custom grip makers.
I have them combined with a Pearce rubber finger groove addition.
Go ahead and get them and spice up your SR1911. |

1911 #6711 After Market Grips |

| Shortly after I received my Ruger 1911 #6711 Light Weight Commander, I ordered these grips based on the already posted reviews - I was looking for something attractive and also might add a little bit of thickness or girth to the single stack grip - Well - Now 8 weeks later I installed those grips and went to the range this morning - not only are they beautiful - but also a perfect fit no modification at all - they did also provide that little bit of extra grip for me giving me a little better control of the pistol while firing …. Amazing Grips, should be stock |

| Got these grips today, and they look fantastic. They were darker then I thought they would be, but they make my SR1911 look special. I highly recommend these grips to any SR1911 owner looking to stay with Ruger. |

| Look and Feel good, I agree with many here who say Ruger should have made these the stock grips. The original rubber grips may eventually decay and crumble over many years, I am Glad i bought these. If your on the fence about these , I say , get some, you will be satisfied with them. |

| These grips look awesome on my 10MM SR1911. Big upgrade from the factory black rubber look. Using the very inexpensive Pearce finger groove grip accessory with them for a fantastic hold and recoil recovery. |
