Checkered cocobolo grips for the SR1911® with Ruger medallions. Includes 4 screws and 4 bushings. Made in the USA by Altamont. This is a natural wood product, color of wood grain varies.
Does not fit SR1911® models equipped with an ambidextrous manual safety.

Great Grips! 3/26/2020
For my medium to small hands these grips where exactly what I needed for competition shooting. If I dont get a good grip out of the holster my hands wrap around more to hold in the grip safety. Great buy!

Appalling 11/6/2017
I got a package of those supposedly thin grips through a Swedish distributor, containing slim size hardware and standard size grips. I have paid close to $100 including international shipping for a set of slim bushings and screws. Sending it back would cost me more than to just throw it in the trash and ordering them again, but I wont make that mistake twice.

Something is wrong here. 3/30/2017
I too am a Ruger fan. I own many. I experienced the same issue with the thin grips. They were the same size as the ones on my gun. Customer service looked up the number and said it was right. No effort was made to check out the grips in my hand. They were wrong. I sent them back. Very disappointed!!!

Very disappointed.... 12/8/2016
First off let me say this : I AM A RUGER FAN 100℅ ! Now, my review : I ordered these thin grips for my SR1911 NW 4.25 and I was biting my nails waiting for them to arrive... Even had some XS big dots installed while waiting. Today my grips arrived and I was so excited, until I opened them up and found that I had been sent standard grips in the package. Everything was labeled thin grips and the hardware is for the thin grips but package contained standard grips. *Refund* and VZ thin grips on order... Sucks because I like the Bird but Ruger basically screwed me on shipping to me and back ! Which is pathetic because I live 10 minutes from where my 2 SR1911s were made.

Real Difference 8/7/2016
After 1st finding these on the Lightweight SR1911, I put them on my full size and my commander model. Makes a real difference for small or medium hands. To see what they feel like, pick up a Lightweight SR1911 at your dealers and feel the difference.

I havent got the grips yet but I ask ruger when they were going to sell the grips like the ones on the light weight commander this great for all sr1911s I know they be great because Everything from ruger I have bought has bee great
