Detailed Description

The Alien Gear Cloak Belt Holster for the Ruger-5.7®carries outside the waistband, but enables easy concealment or open carry preferred. The holster base has 1.5" wide belt loops on the back. This puts this belt holster up high and tight to the body, making concealment easy with as little as an untucked shirt being needed for complete cover. The combat cut gives you a fast and full firing grip, and the sweat shield keeps the slide and controls covered. The holster base is reinforced with edge-to-edge layers of woven ballistic nylon and spring steel. This gives the holster a firm but flexible core, supporting the pistol but also flexing to fit your shape. The Cloak Belt Holster base is padded with our CoolVent™ neoprene, a ventilated fabric that provides cushioning while also wicking away sweat and moisture to let the skin breathe. It can be worn against bare skin without issue, for hours on end. The custom-molded retention shell is adjustable for passive retention, providing the secure fit and sure draw needed from any concealed carry holster. The retention profile can be dialed in with the mounting hardware or even customized with the included Parts Pack. Fits the Ruger-5.7 pistol - available in black only - includes the Ruger logo.

Difficulty re-holstering 10/19/2020
Ive been wearing this holster for about a week now and I must say that it is very comfortable. Like most holsters you still need a good belt as the base, but even wearing this one with a non-reinforced/stiffened nylon belt, it still rode well on my hip and did not move. My issue came with re-holstering. The end of the kydex wraps around the end to cover most of the barrel, but the body side of the firearm is exposed once you get beyond the soft backed belt attachment. This portion of the gun with all of the front serrations does get caught on my pants, even when I wear jeans. Actually the problem is slightly worse with jeans because the nose of the gun wants to go right into my back pocket. I guess if I carried this more at the 3 oclock position I wouldnt have these issues, but thats not where I feel comfortable with my holsters.
