Detailed Description

This Optic Adapter Plate supports the use of Docter®, Meopta, EOTech®, Insight®, Noblex® red dot sights on the Ruger-5.7 pistol. Also fits the TruGlo® Tru-Tec™ Micro TG8100B. The plate is precision CNC machined from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum with a matte black hardcoat finish for strength and durability. Simply place the adapter plate onto slide and secure it using the two #6-32 screws provided. Tighten the screws firmly (30-50 in-lbs.) using a Torx® T-15 wrench (not included). Install the optic onto the Adapter Plate by following the sight manufacturer's mounting specifications (sight not included). The Adapter Plate is 1.700" long x .975" wide and weighs .2 ounces. This Genuine Ruger Factory Accessory is made in the USA.

Poor screws provided 6/8/2022
I used the provided screws with blue Loctite and wheeler torque wrench set at 35 inch #s. We were running drills at the range and my new Holosun 507C optic flew off the pistol with the plate still attached. The plate mounting screws broke off in the frame and I had to take it to my LGS to have them removed and new ones installed.

adapter plate 6/24/2021
The adapter plate fit just fine on the pistol however, I cant find the right screws to mount the TruGlow Micro TG8100B optic to the adapter.

Mounts great plus an FYI 11/17/2020
I mounted the TruGlo® Tru-Tec™ Micro TG8100G Green Dot and only had one issue: the difference in screw size/thread that came with optic were too large for the plate. With this particular optic, I used 8mm long M3 x .05 THD screws and it was perfect. Tight mount and no need to cut/file screws.
