| I dont understand the bad reviews on these magazines. I ran almost 500 rounds out of these mags so far without a failure. Great buy! |

| I bought this magazine for action shooting league hoping to reduce the number of reloads while running the course of fire. Instead I spent twice as much time clearing FTFs as I would have with the extra reload. My 7 round mags work fine but this ten rounder is problematic. I wont use it in competition again. |

Great extended mag |

| Bought one several years ago when I got the SR1911. Works flawlessly in my Ruger SR not so much in my Costa Nighthawk but, Nighthawk is know to only work well with their own or with Wilsons mag.
Its nice having the extra rounds if needed and the balance is as good if not better than the standard eight. It is more apt to show if attempting concealed carry. I liked enough to order another. |

Constant slide lock failures |

| I purchased two of these magazines for my SR1911. They are not nearly as good as the seven and eight round magazines. Both ten round magazines failed to lock the slide after the last round was fired. I will stick to the seven and eight round magazines. |

| I had ordered this product before and the spring stuck on the first fired rd. So I contacted Ruger and they sent me a replacement, no questions asked. Postage paid for the faulty product. I understand the annoyance by those few bad reviewers here, but its just like any other product in the world. Test it before you use it. if it doesnt work, many, if not all companies will send you a replacement for the product that meets or exceeds your expectations. Very pleased with this product, and plan to order two more for the range here in the near future. Thanks Ruger. |

Jams In Two Different Sr1911s |

| This magazine jams at least twice each 10 rounds. My gun jammed and I corrected magazine then put it into a brand new SR1911 my son just bought that day.... first round fed half way in and jammed. Corrected and 3rd round jammed. Money definitely wasted. Ruger needs to pull off market until stronger springs or what ever is corrected. Two guns have same problem with this magazine and correctly feed 115 rounds from standard magazines that was shipped with gun. |

| These magazines need stronger springs. Everytime I go to unload them the rounds hang up. Threw them in the trash. Waste of money on these magazines. |

10 round for home defense |

| For a single stack, it is not so long as to make the pistol feel out of balance, and personally, I prefer a larger magazine for home defense. it functions very well after it is loaded a few times- spring gets tough with the last couple of rounds going in. should be included as standard equipment along with the eight round in states that allow it. |
