| I bought this for my Ruger Mark IV Competition series so I could mount a red dot sight on it and this works perfect. The price is fair, the products is excellent in quality and it fit on the gun very easily. |

| Rail will not sit level on an mk3 and the provided allen screws strip immediately when tightened. Absolute garbage, dont waste your money like I did. |

| On first attempt screws appeared to be too big for the hole. The pistol had small screws in them which once removed allowed a perfect fit. |

| Was looking for a rail for the mark 1 I have because I got a new red dot and it wouldn’t go on the rail that came with the gun. So I ordered this and it worked out perfect! Looks and seams to be a quality product. |

Love 22/45 Picatinny rail... but is improved by centered 6mm slot! |

| Decided my 22/45 needed this rail from previous comments in reviews of this Pic rail. It quickly became obvious that, though very well designed for its intended use, the rail would be significantly improved by a 6mm wide slot cut along the centerline of the top rail to aid in sighting the pistol quickly and accurately. See uploaded photo of my Picatinny rail cut along the centerline with a 6mm/2-flute end mill set 2.9mm deep. |

| Received and installed my Picatinney rail today. Nice aluminum part and it fits very well on my Mark IV 22/45. Seems to be a quality piece. For other folks purchasing this part you will need a 1/16 allen wrench to remove the 3 small countersunk screws and a 3/32 allen wrench to install the rail with the provided screws. |

| I bought this rail for my Ruger Mark IV. Installation was easy, Vortex 3MOA red-dot fits well. Everything shot dead center, but about an 1 1/2” low at 10 yards. I took the mount off, shot with iron sights again and it was center of the bullseye. I’m assuming a defect in the part. Not thrilled with my purchase through Ruger, for a Ruger gun. |

| I agree with one of the reviews should have come with the pistol as it did with the Mark III if your intending to use a rail
Buy this one the looks and fit are superior to the after market rails, I had no issue with mounting my sightron |

Versatile Rail |

| This Picatinny rail can be mounted two ways: 1. in front of the rear sight and extending past the barrel/receiver junction leaving the rear sight in place or 2. removing the rear sight and installing it so it completely covers the rear sight dovetail and ends just at the receiver/barrel junction.
Mounting holes and ejection port reliefs are provided for both orientations.
This versatility allows you to use both long sights like the C-More Railway and still use the Black Dog Holster with the rail mounted. |

Just what I needed |

| I needed a picatinny mount for my Vortex Venum red dot. The local stores were suggesting any mount that fit the holes and found one that would have required removing the rear sight which isnt what I wanted. Ruger to the rescue....this rail was exactly what I needed. The holes aligned perfectly and didnt require removal of the rear sight. Just what I wanted! |

| Appears to be a quality part with one exception. The channels are cut to slightly less than the low limit for depth. Some mounts are not going to sit down far enough making them unstable. |
