Disappointed In The Rear Sight |
3/16/2022 |
Installed on a 10/22 Takedown. Drifting out the original front sight was difficult but the new front sight installation was a breeze (use proper tools!). However . . . the light pipes for the rear sight are too small to use with my old eyes. Barely better than the original rear sight. For my purposes, the front sight is a five, the rear sight a one, for an average of three stars. Looking for something better now. |

Easy peasy |

Had to file a little on the front site. Rear site slid in a bit too easy, but seemed tight by the time I got it centered, tapped the old sites out from the left and did the opposite going back in. Seen it on a video, so I went with it. |

Wont fit |

Front sight dove tail is too big to fit 10/22. Didnt know until after 30 days. Ruger doesnt care at all. Must take it to gunsmith now. for more $. Should have ordered from anywhere else. |

Great sight |

It said professional installation recommended. I swapped out both front & rear sights in about 20 minutes easily. I would post pics if I could. The difference is amazing. These sights are so much easier to see and make the gun look better too. Being able to change the color is a nice feature. I put the red pipe in the front and left the yellow ones in the rear for contrast. Excellent product at a reasonable price. |
