| I had hoped that buying ruger parts would prevent a huge mismatch. I could not fit the barrel into my oem receiver and surprisingly it is the block near the takedown nut that it is catching on. |

| Generic receiver, custom bolt , Magpul hunter stock, hornet trigger and this barrel. Shoots better than any other barrel I have (the Kidd is pretty close). AND the finish is beautiful. Next one will be the stainless. |

| I purchased this barrel with a Boyd’s stock to make myself the .22 I have always wanted. I couldn’t be happier from the heft and feel to the cool hammer forging spirals on the outside. The most important part is it is very accurate! I will be buying more, it was fun putting a 10/22 together and the way it shoots is so satisfying. |

Great barrel for 100yds! |

| This barrel is great! Improved grouping greatly especially at 50-100 yds. Worth the effort, but definitely a tight fit.
I do have to say installation was rough, had to put the barrel in the freezer for an hour and heat up the receiver with a heat gun, and tap it home with a rubber mallet. Also had to sand multiple parts before attempting to seat the barrel. |

| This barrel is an excellent choice for target shooting, firing 300-500 rounds in a setting. Just as accurate on round 500 as round 1. I'm shooting dime sized groups at 50 yards. |

| Just took my new 10/22 barrel out to shoot .Shot everything well and a couple brands awesome.Tested several different ammos ,at the end of the day backed up to 100yds.Had two sub 1in.groups.Fit great into receiver and looked great.Would definitely recommend this barrel to others. |

Great Upgrade |

| Great upgrade to standard barrel. The barrel was a very tight fit. The base gun was new and had only been test fired. A combination of tightening the action screws 1/4 turns and wrapping the end of the barrel with a rubber mallet seated the barrel correctly. tack driver now. |

| I recently put this barrel on my 10/22 carbine. I will say it is a tight fit, but I wouldnt want it any other way! In fact I would expect that from OEM. I put the barrel in the vice and a few taps on the back of the receiver and voila! This is a bench rest rifle. It has an archangel556 stock, a 2lb trigger I made myself from the OE, and a hand lapped and radiused bolt. It is not picky on ammo. It shoots CCI standard almost as well as Norma and SK match grade stuff. Im hitting pencil erasers at 25yds, pennies at 50yds, and ping pong balls at 100yds. It shoots 98% as good as my friends FULLY volquartsenized 10/22 the lacking two percent is me not the rifle! at a quarter of the price. Very satisfied. Highly recommend for BENCH REST. Dont forget this barrel weighs almost 5lbs!

Perfect barrel |

| These barrels are made to the tightest tolerance, so a bit of polishing the chamber end with some emery cloth was all that was required for a perfect fit. My best results came from bedding the first 5-6 inches of the barrel and free-floating the aluminum receiver, as the receiver was not designed for years of supporting a heavy steel barrel. Accurate beyond any 10/22 Ive owned. |

| this is a fantastic barrel, this went into my woodstock sporter that i had the stock opened up to .920.
To the person who rated it 1 star mine was a super tight fit and didnt go all the way in , you can do things to get this in if you have this problem, put the barrel in the freezer for a few hours and put the receiver in the oven at like 150 for a lil bit, put them together and put a towel over the end and give it a couple taps with a rubber mallet. i just had to do the last part to make mine fit. |

Wont fit! |

| This barrel will not fit in my 10/22 receiver. I ordered a Green Mtn. .920 barrel that fits just fine, but this barrel is too thick, and will not fit into the receiver. I havent read of anyone else having this problem so hopefully I just got a bad one. |
