Detailed Description

Rail covers are made from a durable, heat & chemical resistant heavy-duty synthetic polymer resin material. Features include: compatible with all 1913 Picatinny rail systems, a robust retaining clip, pops up by hand for easy installation, adjustment and removal; positively locks down, reduces heat transfer and abrasions to the operators hand and, weights is 1oz each. Approximate length is 6". Sold in a 3-pack in black. Fits the SR-556®, SR-22®, and AR style of rifle with Picatinny rails on it. Made in the USA by Troy Industries.

	Review of Troy Industries Battlerail Covers - Positive	2/1/2017
I believe everything Troy Industries says about the quality and performance capabilities of these covers. They are more comfortable than dealing with a naked 1913 Picatinny Rail all day long but the trade off is they substantially increase the circumference of the forend. The change in grip may take a little while to get used to using. They are very easy to install and remove. The only reason for not giving them 5 stars is my expectation of them was that they would not be so thick. Still, Ill keep them. These are a quality product from a well known name in the industry.
