Bianchi Piranha for LCR is very tight... |
5/22/2022 |
Bianchi Piranha for LCR is very tight as its a quality item that's of an excellent construction and pre-shaped for the LCR~DAO model: needs some breaking in with Mink oil on the strap, body of the holster and then sit 24+ hours with the LCR in a large Ziploc bag holstered INSIDE the Bianchi Piranha.
If the above isn't done, the LCR with get stuck inside the holster and runs the risk of damage to the revolver and/or holster itself as it's a very snug item literally made for the LCR with the 1.875" barrel.
Fast S&H and very nice quality compliment to the LCR as cross-draw works well for the LCR and this is the holster for that 100% "a-f-t-e-r" being conditioned and broke in.
No regrets in getting this for the LCR .22LR model! |

A good multifunction holster. |

I have been wearing my Bianchi Piranha for about a week and I am very pleased with it. I use it for cross draw carry while riding or driving in a vehicle. I carry it at the 10 to 11 o’clock position by running the belt through the lower loop on the side with two belt loops. It holds my Ruger LCR high above the beltline at a neutral cant. This makes it very accessible with a seat belt on. It is also very comfortable when sitting. If I want to carry when I get out of the vehicle, I usually slide the holster around a couple of inches closer to the 9:00 position for maximum concealment.
Finally, I can take advantage of the upper belt loop to carry in the more traditional 3 to 4 o’clock positions. The upper loop seems to give it a cant that is more favorable for this type of draw. It snugs up to the body to make optimum concealment possible. Since the holster positions the gun fairly high, I found a draw from the 4 o’clock position to be somewhat awkward. But, drawing from the 3 o’clock position works good for me.
I have found it to be a good holster for either mode of carry. |

Shipped by ground |

As of yet I have not received my order. I will review this holster once I receice it, Im sure its nice. My beef is that I am paying $22.00 For shipment of nearly a $500.00 order and its being shipped GROUND! Are you kidding me. At the size of my order it should have been free shipping, but I knew that going in. What was not publicized was that Ruger would ship ground. On their confirmation they state the product will be shipped in 1 to 2 days, not the order will be processed in 1 to 2 days, just a little missleading. Whoops, I thought that was delivery time, my bad. The icing on the cake is when calling customer service I keep getting the same person who has a condescending manner. I like Ruger but I dont like their Shop Ruger customer service. I could have bought the same items anywhere else on line and will do so next time. Goodbye Shop Ruger and little miss Sisie Sunshine. |

This holster is exactly what I was looking for. Perfect for concealed carry. I also like the strap with a snap for weapon retention. Thanks. |
