Great replacement for Mkll |
6/22/2023 |
Original grips from 1988 are a bit faded and I have to keep them oiled up with Balistol to keep them shiny. These replacements with red medallions look and fit great. One star off because they came with screws that were too short. Didn’t realize that they came with screws so I was glad that I had ordered 4 mkll screws at the same time. They were cheap and fit perfectly. Best pistol I’ve ever owned. Still extremely accurate and reliable. |

Ruger MK II |
7/7/2020 |
I purchased a set of the MK II black grips to replace the set on my MK II 6 barrel stainless. The new set arrived, the fit is perfect and they look great with the red inserts on the stainless finish. |

MAKES MY MK II ALMOST LOOK NEW |
9/5/2019 |
I purchased this MK II grip to replace my original grips that were still in good and usable condition but only came with the Ruger medallion, in black, on one grip panel and I wanted the newer grips with the Ruger red medallion on both grip panels to set it off and they look great and fit perfectly. I also noticed the the Ruger MK III simulated ivory grip will also fit the MK II and I now have three sets of grips for my MK II. Happy trails. |

Worked on my Mark l - and they said it wouldnt! |
12/2/2014 |
Asked Customer Service if these grips would fit my Mark l, they said: No.
Called Houge of Houge grips, and asked their CS the same question and they said that their Mark ll and Mark l grips are interchangeable except for the Mark ll has a small cutout on the top edge of the left grip visible in the photo above, but otherwise they will work. I purchased these grips on that assurance and glad I did. For seven bucks such a deal. |
