Not Cocobolo | 3/7/2024 |
| I received the three sets of grips that I ordered because I have cocobolo grips on one of my other Ruger Mark II guns and love them. The grips that I received were not solid cocobolo, they are a laminated wood. The grips are the same shape as the other ones that I have but are not solid cocobolo. When I called customer service, they basically said that that is the way that Hogue advertises them and it is not a Ruger thing. | ||

| I have used these on my Mark III or the last 10 years and they ae a great improvement over the stock plastic grips. The feel is so much better, and the thumb rest is great for teaching new shooters the correct position of their thumbs. The only drawback is with the thumb rest for right hand shooters it is almost impossible for a left-hand shooter to use. | ||
