Does not fit Mk IV 22/45 Tactical |
8/30/2018 |
Make sure that you pay attention to the listings ONLY statement. This holster will not fit the Mark IV 22/45 Tactical due to the rails on the top and bottom of the firearm. I should have paid more attention to the words, but I thought that they may have specifically called out the Tactical model as not fitting. |

Mark IV 22/45 Lite 4.4 |
3/15/2018 |
My pistol did not experience the fitting problems the other reviewer explained. It fit with no difficulty. To be fair, I had removed the right side safety, and the top accessory rail because I didnt want them. The holster design requires the safety to be ON when in the holster. This is because the trigger is fully exposed while in the holster, and the way the snap comes around the top of the backstrap. I wish the trigger wasnt exposed, but as far as I could find, this is the only compatible Mark IV 22/45 Lite holster on the market. The black kydex one is too tight for the thicker upper receiver/barrel of the Lite. |

Beware if you have a MK IV 22/45 lite |

Purchased this for my MK IV 22/45 Lite. After a little work it fits the gun nice and snug. The problem is when the gun is seated the snaps are over 1/2 inch apart. To make matters worse the snaps are located right over the safety lever which adds more distance. This is a good quality leather holster but dont buy it unless you are prepared for a lot of work. After 4 days of softening and stretching I got the snaps to close. |
