Only OEM |
Purchased aftermarket mags to save money. Ended up with nothing but misfires and jambs. Started buying the OEM factory mags and after hundreds of rounds fired no issues. When I looked at both aftermarket and OEM mags close up I could not see a difference, but there is. If you have a mini 14 and want it to be reliable only use the OEM mags. Ive had my 14 for over 15 years and after thousands of rounds its still great. |

Great product- Just pricey. |
Obviously, youre getting what you pay for. Yeah, youre dropping 40 bucks on a single, 20 round magazine, but theyre plenty reliable. |

20 round magazine |
I remember using nothing but a 20 round magazine. Truthfully it is all you need. |

More practical than the 30-round magazine |
The 20-round Ruger-branded magazine is very well made, much heavier- duty than equivalent metal magazine for ARs. It also seem to be a better choice for the Ranch rifle than the 30-rounder is,since it is not as obtrusive. A 30-round magazine can work well in ARs but is really somewhat cumbersome for the Ranch rifle. |

Ruger Mini 14 factory magazines |
The function perfectly in my Mini 14. They are also very expensive, but they are much better than magazines that gun stores sell. It would help if the price was $10 less. |

Rugers own Min-14 mags are the ones to buy! |
I have Mini-14 mags in 5, 10 & 20 round sizes. Everything Ive read about them is true, they are the best avaliable and while not inexpensive its with good reason. Utterly reliable, great fit. |

Highest compliment for a semi-auto magazine is: |
It works. Yeah, its 40 bucks. But it works. If it doesnt, then nothing else matters. Sturdy, locks in easily, feeds well, its all smooth. Only reason its 4 star instead of 5 star? Its 40 bucks {grins} Make it 25 maybe 30 bucks and itll get the other star. |
