Detailed Description

This sling adapter allows ambidextrous sling attachment, prevents rotation of buffer tube, allows maximum stock collapse. Adapter is made from hardened aluminum construction and includes a blackened stainless push button Q.D. swivel. Fits the SR-556®, AR-556®, SR-22®, SR-762®, and other AR-style firearms. Made in the USA by Troy Industries.

I bought adapter right after I got my AR-556. It does what its advertised to do accept allow you to collapse the stock completely.
