Too loose and firing issues 5/1/2023
The 2 mags I got with my 57 also give me problems. I may have been the cause , make sure to count your bullets while installing in the mag. The mags will hold 21 and if u were like me I never counted I just looked on the side of the mag until I seen the ammo and thought when it hit 20 that's what I put in it but in reality I was putting 21 in the mag instead of 20 so I don't know if that hurt my springs in them or what but I've never run 20 straight through yet even after I caught my mistake and I started loading them like that from the very beginning so I don't know if I'm the cause of if the mags just stink lol. I put a reflex sight on mine and it seems to have made it a little worse so that's my ordeal. I love the gun but if u all are like me when I spend good money on something I expect it to work as purposed , I also didn't know until I bought the gun that Ruger doesn't carry warranties anymore , so a gun smith maybe in my future because I'm not passing down to my kids once they're of age a lemon. Im just in a dilemma! Lol

Magazines require cleaning/lubricating 10/5/2022
I fired 200 rounds with no hiccups, I reloaded the 4 (20rd)magazines After range day and noticed stuck and loose rounds. I Field stripped , cleaned and lubricated magazines to correct issue.

Im on the fence 11/13/2021
I mean I love the recoil and accuracy of this weapon not to mention the sleek design and the light weight. But the mags are killing me! It can easily jam while loading the mag and easily get jammed in the chamber. I think a polymer mag should be an alternative.

Problems with magazines 6/8/2021
I like this pistol because it feels super good to shoot but I have not been able to load more than 14 bullets in each magazine so that they do not get stock

Damn fine gun 3/27/2021
I like this pistol because it works the magazine feeds well and no stove pipes. Its accurate and less recoil than a 9 mm.

Ruger 57 3/20/2021
Very good weapon and I have had no feed problems with the 2 clips that came with the purchase. The pistol is very accurate and I have it sighted in at 25 yards. As soon as I find a holster that holds the lazer then I will carry full time.

Follower/Spring issues resulting in failure to feed 10/19/2020
Both the two magazines that came with my Ruger 57 and the third I purchased separately from Ruger are yet to go through an entire 20 rounds without issue. Ive never seen this issue before, but the rounds will jam up maybe 8 rounds deep in the mag and result in loose rounds jangling at the top. On one failure it compressed the round. I have had to pop the slide off three times in one cycle before. May or may not be related, the slide has to be slapped forward periodically even when release by the slide stop. I would love to carry this gun, but the magazines are too unreliable.
