Detailed Description

Nickel-Teflon® plated steel, 10-round, 9mm Luger Genuine Ruger® Factory Magazine is compatible with the Ruger American® Pistol Compact. It is also compatible with the PC Carbine™ with the Ruger American® Pistol magazine well insert. Magazine comes with the extended floorplate installed and a flush floorplate in the package.

Design flaw but Ruger stands by product 10/8/2019
Giving 2 stars because Ive broken not one but 2 of the extended baseplates off of these 10 round magazines. Both were just using it normally at the range. The first time I contacted Ruger and they sent me a new mag no questions asked but they sent another 10 rounder, the second time I asked them to send a 12 round magazine because I dont live in a restrictive state and have never had an issue. I wish they would just sell the baseplates alone so I could just fix my own broken mags instead of dealing with the hassle

Mag issues on tenth round loading 1/27/2019
Mag will barely fit the 10th round with assistance of a magloader
 
It Works Great and is Durable 7/19/2018
The compact magazine operates well with the pistol. Takedown is easy. Also, it is very durable under harsh conditions. Ive had no issues with it. I would highly recommend it for an accessory to the American Pistol Compact 9mm.

Magazine Failure 6/25/2018
I have a total of 6 magazines and not one will fit 10 rounds. This is the only magazine that Will Not fit the new PC carbine.

Not the typical Ruger magazine 2/14/2018
The base of the clip broke off the first time that I went to the range. The two small plastic guides werent strong enough to keep the clip in place. Ill stick with the larger magazines, they work much better. And I love my American Compact...great shooting gun.

Not the typical Ruger product 2/7/2018
The bottom cap on the clip broke the first time that I used it. I was taking the magazine out of the gun after firing five shots and the entire clip came apart. I found most of the pieces but the cap is missing a part. Hopefully Ruger will stand behind their product and send me a new one.

Faulty 1/4/2017
Ive owned this for about two months and that plastic piece on the bottom broke off. I wasnt doing any kind of extreme activity. Just taking it to the range once a week or so.
