Poor Retention 10/12/2016
Buyer beware. Poor retention for 9mm full size model. I tightened it down with little to no perceptible improvement. Pistol VERY EASILY slips out with VERY LITTLE friction. It might work well with the .45 variant, I do not know. In addition, if you find it does not work,return it within 30 days. I missed that window, so I am unfortunately stuck with a...well, its not even a very good paper weight. Definitely recommend looking at other options.

Yeah I bought the American pistol and when you register the gun with Ruger you get 20% off which was a great deal have decided by the mag and this holster it took me less than 5 minutes to adjust a holster the way I like it and as for the gun people on YouTube Someone seems not to like it but let me tell you something I had limited budget to get me a good handgun and I couldnt beat you cant beat this deal 430 thats what I paid for it and Im very happy with it was either this or something made and some other country you never heard of and I could think Ruger gave me the 20%off to get the holster and mag.

THE ABSOLUTE VERY BEST IWB - EVER!!! 1/1/2016
I own 2 of these R/H & L/H, both for a Springfield product. Unlike almost every other IWB, this holster places holster material between your skin and the pistols slide/sight. MUCH more comfortable that way, plus does not expose the slide/sight to sweat. VERY important when one lives in the deep South, where it is HOT much of the year. Further, the holster material itself is also impervious to sweat - salt water. Retention??? Superb! Putting your pistol in, you can feel it snap in place. Once snapped in, I can think of no physical activity not even pro football that would release the pistol except a deliberate draw. PLUS, the holster retaining clip is properly designed to make the holster stay put during the draw, yet is easy on/off. The best part for last - NOW available as an ambidextrous model with adjustable ride height - mine have neither of these features - older models. Simply THE VERY BEST IWB, period!!! Hooray!!! Made in the USA!!!
