	Too Large for my Ruger .22LR Pistols	1/9/2023
My Ruger Mark IV came with a smaller red chamber flag designed like these. I thought these were the same size but yellow. They are indeed larger and don’t easily fit any of my .22LR Ruger pistols (the Standard, Mark II, Mark III Hunter or my Mark IV 22/45). I’ll use them in larger pistols or rifles, but I was really hoping these were like the OEM chamber flags that came with my Mark IV and they are not.

I use these flags when firearms are in my safe or when transporting. They instantly confirm that the chamber is empty. They work best in something with a spring loaded bolt like a semi-auto. They may work in a .22 cal bolt action via friction fit in the chamber. IMO they will not work in a revolver, bolt action bigger than .22, break action, lever action, or slide action. I recommend these for 10/22, P-series, SR series, American Pistol, Standard Model/Mark I/Mark II/Mark III/Mark IV.
