Ruger One-Shot™ Sled

The Ruger® One-Shot™ Sled for short-action Ruger American® rifles is used in place of the Ruger American magazine and allows for quick and easy loading of a single cartridge. The sled provides smooth, single-round feeding, useful to slow down a new shooter or simplify loading during range sessions. The Ruger One-Shot™ is also ideal for hunting - particularly in states with single-shot hunting regulations such as Illinois.

The One-Shot™ Sled is a direct magazine replacement for Ruger American rifles in short-action calibers, including many calibers used for hunting (350 Legend, 450 Bushmaster, 300 Blackout, .308 Winchester, 6.5 Creedmoor, etc.). The sled ships with a magazine well to adapt rifles configured from the factory to accept AR-, AI-, or Mini Thirty®-pattern magazines. When inserted in the rifle, the One-Shot™ sled fits flush with the stock and does not interfere when carrying a slung rifle or shooting from a bag or backpack. Easy installation in my Ruger American Ranch Gen II in 5.56 NATO/.223 Remington! Works great. Just drop a round in the opening and close the bolt. No fidgeting required! Real smooth!

I bought this for my Ruger 6 creed. Predator. I had some problems with the ai style msgs functioning and chambering rounds. I usually shoot from the bench, so this is perfect. I also bought the multi caliber Ruger American 3 round mag that fit this mag well for a flush fit for hunting. But, then you probably only need one shot from one of these accurate rifles.

	Perfect solution for range work.	3/15/2023
The one shot sled is a perfect solution for the range on my Ruger American 350 Legend "Go Wild" and truth be told, I'll probably hunt with it too . Eliminates the box magazine and makes it for all intents and purposes a bolt action single shot rifle. Less to snag on and deal with at range or in the woods. As a single shot it is still a faster follow up shot than my .54 cal sidelock muzzleloader. Never fired a second shot with that one. Doubtful I'll need it with the 350 Legend either. Also works in my other Ruger American in .308.

I have one, have used it through a couple of boxes of ammo. Brass case, 7.62x39. Works wonderful, 5minutes to install, two screws. Could never understand why thay put the hold open lug on the regular mags. I was about to file them off. But that would be my only complaint with this gun.
