This stainless steel, 7-round, .45 Auto magazine is compatible with the Ruger SR1911® Officer Model only. Made in the USA. *Due to changes in the law effective October 1, 2013 Ruger is not able to sell magazines to CONNECTICUT residents.

Ruger Mags are Righeous. 11/27/2021
I have an Officer SR1911. Extraordinary product, well fitted with the scoop grip safety exactly in the correct position for my right hand. In the last 18 months I have fired over 2,500 rounds through the triple spring recoil system. I choose to replace the springs every 1,000 rounds to defend the frame and slide. Ruger has generously replaced the springs at no additional charge. The magazines have functioned flawlessly with NO failures to feed. This SR1911 is my carry sidearm. It must be absolutely reliable….Magazines are an essential component of any pistol system. Ruger mags never have failed to impress. The magazines reflect the quality and service support that have made my past purchases of 8 Ruger firearms absolutely worry free. What ever happens in the industry, I hope Ruger will refrain from the insanity chasing down price points and suicidal discounting. Quality and after the sale service are NOT cheap. These 2 virtues separate Ruger from its competitors. I am willing to pay 8-12% more on their products knowing that the quality is there AND peerless service is available in the event of any issues.

Works Perfectly in Officers Model 1911 45ACP 7/3/2020
Flawless Operation. Takes 7 rounds but is shorter than Commander model magazines. Only improvement I would make is something to indicate these are for the Officers Model. Longer Commander model magazines offer no increase in capacity 7 rounds. What is remarkable is that the smaller magazine accepts 7 rounds. Ruger Commander magazines work in the Officers model, but offer no advantage in capacity. The Officers model doesnt seem to like after market magazines. Definite preference for Ruger Magazines.

wrong mags? 3/4/2019
I ordered 4 of these for my SR1911 commander. They are too short and only hold 6 rounds. On the packaging they say that they are for the officer model. They are high quality factory mags, and they came via mail pretty quick. I am going to return them for item item # 90366 and hope that those work. I LOVE MY RUGERS!
