| This holster fits my 1911 Commander like a glove, dark brown high end leather. Its what the 1911 Ruger deserves, a beautiful holster for a beautiful firearm. Dont bother sitting on the fence for this one, its worth it. |

| this is the best holster that i have for my lightweight commander. i like the way it rides on my belt. it is very comfortable on on the hip. great retention, without the screws some holsters have. purchased them for my sr22,american pro, and my lc9s. i rate them all 5 stars. |

| I was a little hesitant to drop this much money on a leather holster. After sliding my Commander in there and slipping it on my belt there was zero buyers regret at all. It’s simple. It’s very well made. It does the job. I’m very happy with this product. |

| This is flat-out, bar none the most comfortable belt holster Ive ever worn! The holster rides high and fits very close to body, making it very concealable. The cant or angle of the holster is grip forward/barrel back, and this seems to be a part of the comfortable fit. The holster does require a longer break-in period, as it fits my SR1911 very tightly. Ive been wearing this holster all day long at work for a couple months now, and it is truly all-day comfortable for me. Heres an example of how well this holster works for me: I bought the SR1911 Commander Lightweight as a carry gun, and with this holster, its a perfect combo. Lately Ive been carrying my Colt Officers all-steel 1911. This Mitch Rosen holster fits and rides so nice, it makes that heavier Officers Model seem lighter than it is! My rating is 5 stars plus, and thanks to Ruger and Mitch Rosen! |

| Ordered online. The holster was backordered which is not really a problem. When it arrived I read the product information sheet. This is an excellent holster. The openings for the belt are firm but mold to your body. The Ruger lightweight sr 1911 commander I have fit very snug at first. After clearing the weapon I inserted it in the holster and drew it out several times. It loosened up but still retains a tight hold. This is one of the best holsters I have purchased. It conforms to the body and rides high. It allows me to wear a summer shirt with the tail out. The pistol is not discernable. With practice the holster can be cleared quickly. This also makes an excellent range holster.
The leather is stiff. The stiches are sewn in with no looses ends. An excellent product. |
