Detailed Description

Tritium Night Sight replaces the factory front sight on the Ruger SR1911® pistol. 0.180" height front sight is a direct factory replacement for current production SR1911® pistols with factory installed front sight 0.180" height. If installing on an older Ruger SR1911® with a 0.215" front sight, then we also recommend using in conjunction with a Novak Adjustable rear sight. Genuine Ruger® Factory Accessory made in USA. Recommend professional installation or use of a quality gun sight tool for installation and adjustment (not included).

	Lessons learned	6/8/2021
Replaced sight on model 6755 with .215 sight that shipped in 2017 with this sight.It has a .330 wide base, is a mim part, and after sanding bottom of base to start in dovetail it was dragging on slide and galling slide.That meant filing on underside of part of sight that holds tritium vial. You will need a sight pusher for removal and installation. Watch very closely and go slow. If you dont have files sandpaper and a magnifying visor,and a vise dont even think of installing this.
