| Yea, my mags arrived timely but that is the good news. They loaded two cartridges and then I
had trouble getting anymore because of too tight
sides on the mags. I will try to spread the mags like in the other reviews. Then I will probably throw them away if that fails like the $$ I spent on them. Ruger has a problem. Fix it! |

Mags too tight, difficult to load ammo |

| Mag lips are too tight, cartridges go in only with some fiddling and pushing. During feeding, they strip each rim a bit, though no failure to feed yet. Also, the spring screeches badly when I push the follower down, like its an old rusty thing.
None of this happens with the 2 mags that originally came with the gun - ammo goes in very smoothly and quietly. I even suspected counterfeits, but from the outside the mags look identical. Must be some consistency/quality control issue at the factory. |

Simple SR22 magazine tightness fix |

| Just received extra magazines for my SR22s. On the tight ones, I used a medium sized chisel 5/8 with a hex body to spread the center top area of the mags. Simply pull the bullet follower down, insert the chisel and LIGHTLY spread each side equally. You probability only need only approx. .005 inch total spread. If you are concerned about scratching or chipping paint use tape to mask the chisel. Separate issue-
Just a word of caution, when you swap out the magazine bottom cap remember it is spring loaded and parts can easily fly out. |

Too tight |

| Just like Bill my magazines are too tight at the top. Mine came with the firearm. I have tried spreading them out by twisting pliers inside. It work for a couple rounds but then back to normal. Each round has to snap the rim into the magazine that it is fine. Have two speed loaders and even by hand they are difficult to load. |

Mag fits gun/ Ammo doesnt fit MAG |

| Finally had extra funds to get extra mags for all my guns. Received everything on the order quickly. Tested ALL mags with their appropriate firearm. Week later I was loading all mags for the weekend, NOPE the SR-22 mags are too narrow at the top will not allow ammo to load.
Through all package away since they fit the guns. So now I will call customer service in the morning. Honestly if the all fit and cycled would be 4 or 5. Some how I have become a Ruger shooter Four handguns and three rifles. |

Excellet magazine for the SR22 |
