The Vortex® Venom’s low-profile yet rugged aluminum housing surrounds a large viewing window that makes for a wide field of view and sight picture with next-to-no obstruction for rapid shooting transitions and target acquisition. Its fully multi-coated lens increases light transmission with multiple anti-reflective coatings on all air-to-glass surfaces. The premium wide-field lens also provides exceptional edge-to-edge resolution. Brightness settings can be adjusted between 10 levels of brightness in manual mode or switched to auto mode. Unlimited eye relief non-critical eye relief supports rapid target acquisition. The 3 MOA daylight bright red dot is easy to see and paints targets regardless of lighting conditions or background.The lightweight Venom is made from a compact single piece chassis. Waterproof O-ring seals prevent moisture, dust and debris from penetrating for reliable performance in all environments. The rugged, shockproof construction withstands recoil and impact. The sight’s durable hard-coat anodization provides a low-glare matte surface and helps camouflage the shooter's position. The ArmorTek® Ultra-hard, scratch-resistant coating protects exterior lenses from scratches, oil and dirt. The lithium battery provides life up to 150 hours on highest setting (30,000 hours on lower settings). This Venom red dot sight made by Vortex® is designed for use on the AR-556® Pistol, Ruger-5.7®, and other firearms equipped with Picatinny rails and is covered by Vortex’s lifetime manufacturer’s warranty.
