GREAT MAG EXTENTION 7/25/2021
FIRST OFF WHEN YOU BUY ANYTHING FROM THE MANUFACTURER YOU PAY FULL LIST PRICE. THAT`S WHAT MSRP STANDS FOR. I BOUGHT ONE AND IT HAS NEVER FAILED. YES IT WAS HARD TO LOAD ALL 9 ROUNDS WHEN NEW , BUT AFTER A SHORT BREAK IN PERIOD IT LOADED JUST FINE. AND IT DOES MAKE FOR BETTER GRIP WHEN SHOOTING. I BOUGHT TWO MORE SHORTLY AFTERWARDS AND HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH EITHER MAG. IF YOU CARRY AN LC9s FOR YOUR EDC YOU HAD BETTER BE ABLE TO COUNT TO 10 BECAUSE YOUR LIFE MAY DEPEND ON IT AND I WOULD NEVER RELIES ON SMALL HOLES IN THE SIDE OF ANY MAG TO KNOW EXACTLY HOW MANY ROUNDS ARE LOADED IN THE MAG. THE DESIGN AND MANUFACTURE OF THESE MAGS ARE VERY HIGH QUALITY AND THATS WHAT DRIVES THE PRICE. I LIVE ON DISABILITY INCOME SO MONEY IS VERY TIGHT. BUT THE COST OF A RELIABLE AND MAYBE LIFE SAVING MAG IS AN INVESTMENT I`LL MAKE EVERY DAY. CONFIDENCE IN THE TOOLS YOU USE MAKES YOUR OPERATION OF THOSE TOOLS THAT MUCH BETTER.

9 round mag 6/20/2021
I bought one of these mags and its fine. Loads 9 rounds no problem. Bought two more had a little difficulty loading them, but if you tap the mag before the last one or two rounds, they fit just fine. Everything has a break in period. Keep in mind this is a 7 round mag with an adapter on the end. Its not stamped 9 round is it? No it is not. I agree with those who say it is a bit pricey, but I dont have to buy it do I? I wish Ruger would sell the adapter by itself so I could retrofit my 7 rounders. 4 stars because of the price.

magazines over priced 6/2/2021
9 round magazines for LC9 are seriously over priced.

Too high 4/17/2021
The cost is too much for one mag or two mags.

Great for big hands 2/8/2021
I have big hands so using the 9 rd mag is a bonus. I bought mine the last yr they made the lc9 it fits and works great the only issue is I paid $44 at the time I bought it

Poor design 6/26/2020
Why have that lip on it that the rounds get jammed on!? Seems like such minuscule and trivial problem. Just why????

MAGnificent! 7/18/2019
The build quality is first rate, this one is made in USA and as good as the Italian made mags. A mag-loading tool is best when this mag is new. Use a tool, not your thumb. Tension loading the 9th round is actually a good indication of high-grade music wire mag spring. Simply load only 8 and leave it, before long the spring will ease allowing all 9 rounds. By the way, eight round Sig P225-A1 mags will work perfectly in Rugers LC9S and dont stick down as far as Rugers 9 round mag. Myself, I usually carry the LC9S with Rugers great flush-fitting 7 round and simply carry an extra one for 14 rds. The LC9S, being so compact, is surprisingly accurate shooting. I like the manual safely for pocket carry.

Nice Magazine 11/25/2017
Love the extension adds the extra rounds which is nice but shop around as I went to a show and picked up 2 for $30 each. Would have thought buying directly from Ruger price would have been comparable instead of more expensive.

Great magazine 9/2/2017
Great fit and you cant have too many magazines. Bought mine at Aggressiveguns.com for way cheaper, they are great and shipped right away. I am a die hard Ruger fan for life.

Great firearm 7/23/2017
Love this firearm, seeing some comments if you need the extra rounds go back to the range. I want the extension so my little finger has somewhere to hold

Ruger needs to step up to the plate and fix the issues with this. 7/13/2017
Round 8 and 9 dont go in very well and then there is too much presssure for them to feed correctly. Many other retailers are selling them at a much better price and yet you want to screw over loyal customers. Pretty disappointed with you, Ruger.

LC9 4/23/2017
Fits my LC9 like a glove. Aggressiveguns.com is cheaper by far. Great magazine though.

Selective ammo mag 1/20/2017
Bought the extended mag. Tried to load 135 grain JHP and could only get 8 rounds in mag. Racked the slide and the round hung up before reaching feed ramp. Dropped to 7 rounds in mag. That one hung up too. Dropped to 6 rounds in mag. Everything ok from that point on. Ok. I contacted Ruger and presented my case. Was sent a replacement mag and I sent my mag back to Ruger. Same thing. This time I also changed ammo. Went to 115 grain FMJ. Managed to squeeze 9 rounds in mag although it was real tight and all chambered ok. So it does hold 9 and will function. I prefer JHP for critical defense, so will have to use original 7 round mag for JHP or extended mag with only 6 rounds and carry 2 mags. I like the grip with the extended mag so there is a tradeoff.

I have to agree the mag could be better for the price 1/3/2017
Out of the box, I was surprised to see the windows only show up to seven rounds. It looks like this was a cost savings to use the same core as the seven round mag but with a different spring and base configuration. Not a bad idea for cost savings for Ruger, it not very convenient for the consumer to visually see how many rounds are loaded into the extended mag. At least pass this savings on to the consumer, or have two different cores. I tend to agree with others on the gap, it is rather large, but probably not large enough to create a pinch point. Overall, I like having a larger cap mag for the range and for backup, so I bought one. I just acquired this so I cannot comment on the functionality, but I was able to jam the 9th round in without using tools, but it take some doing. I have other mags from other manufacturers similar that functioned with this condition though, so I dont think it will be an issue. It did start to get difficult on the 8th round which had me questioning as I peered at the 7 round window though.
