Takedown Pack is a Letdown! |
5/2/2023 |
Worst pack I’ve ever purchased. Do not buy this pack. The mag holders are not designed for 30 round mags and the pockets are awkward and small. Thin padding and material make it so that using the pockets makes the pack even more awkward to use. The zippers catch on the corners, pretty much 90% of the time and the overall design not thought out well. Worst of all, you get to pay $15 to return it, so take my advice and pass on this pack. |

Who designed this? |
4/1/2023 |
Seriously, who came up with this design? First, it opens from left to right, opposite of what a book would be. It just feels odd. Ok, seems kind of petty to complain about. But what about the pockets inside the bag? What pockets!? You have a few magazine pouches at the top of the bag, that is pretty much it. There is some weird cut outs for a couple25 rounders. Two, two cutouts for extended magazines. Want to carry spare ammo? Sure, just throw it in the weird document style pocket on the inside of the bag and hope your ammo doesn’t fall out from the UNSECURED location. The forend pocket will not fit with any type of accessory on the rifle, even a flashlight. I have a Burris Fastfire on the stock and it fit nicely in its designated pouch, so at least that section of the pack makes sense. And, last but not least, after the poor design, the terrible layout, and questionable strap choice, some idiot slapped a sticker on the outside of the pack with super strength adhesive, causing a huge rectangular shaped stain and permanent stickiness. Terrible bag, you can get the same functionality out of a plastic bag that you can get out of this. Save your money. |

Excellent Takedown Case |
3/9/2023 |
Hesitant at first to puchase as other reviews were fairly negative, however, I found this case to fit my Takedown very well! The rifle is stored dissasembled with the barrel attached to the stock, as designed, and then slipped, together, very snuggly into the largest inside pocket. One of the previous reviews incorrectly had the rifle parts separated with the barrel in the smaller pocket and stock in the larger. Plenty of room leftover for attachments. Highly recommend! |

Great Case, but... |
7/10/2022 |
Pros: This is a great case. The quality you would expect from Allen, and lots of places to store gear. It's also a good size and a stock 10/22 take down fits great.
Con: This case will NOT accommodate any type of optic or muzzle device. If you add any accessories the parts will not fit in the pre-designed storage pockets. The only option you will have is storing the halves in the main compartment and them floating around banging into everything. If you are going to accessorize go with another case. |
