Screw Swap Required | 9/30/2023 |
| I installed this on the 1895 Guide Gun along with the HiViz front and rear sights as well as ordering all the required screws mentioned in the parts diagram. What I found is the screws for the rail and rear site need to be switched. Using the screws provided for the rail (Item #52, PT#68029) when installed will impact or not fully sit flush. The rear sight screw (Item 51 PT# 68028 ) when used with the HiViz rear sigh is too short to reach the threads. As the Rail Kit includes the screws needed for the install, I recommend ordering an additional Rear Site screw (PT# 68028) and use it as one of the screws for the Rail and use the original Rail screw for the Rear Sight. I also request Ruger to verify this and update the parts diagram as necessary. | ||
