Sightmark® Mini Shot A-Spec M3- Reflex Sight

The Sightmark® Mini Shot A-Spec M3- Reflex Sight utilizes an illuminated, 3-MOA dot with automatic brightness settings, to minimize issues during use. This reflex sight fits pistols with the Shield RMS-C® footprint, features a co-witness with standard pistol sights and mounts on Weaver or Picatinny rails. The Mini Shot A-Spec M3 incorporates a durable, lightweight and compact aluminum alloy housing. It includes IP55 water-resistant ratings and is shockproof, able to withstand recoil up to .375 H&H caliber. It remains operational in temperatures ranging from -22 to 122°F. Includes a rubber cover, low profile fixed mount, battery and manual. The sight is powered by a CR2032 Battery that delivers 4 years of battery life with normal usage. It measures 1.6" L x 0.9" wide x .89" high and weighs just 0.7 oz. It is covered by the manufacturer's lifetime warranty. 	Easy to Sight-in and Use	1/31/2022
I mounted this to a Max-9 and have been pleased with the performance. It is holding its zero well after a few months of carry and a few hundred rounds. I can see the dot clearly without glasses unlike my open sighted pistols, This is now my most accurate pistol despite the short barrel. The auto bright feature works for me in all lighting conditions, including in the dark with a flashlight. Very pleased with this purchase.

	I have my reservations	7/19/2021
I bought this sight soon after buying my Max-9, which I love. Its much easier to conceal than what I was carrying previously. The sight works fine most of the time but this dang cover keeps falling off. There is nothing to retain it on the gun or the sight. My understanding is that it needs to be in place to prevent the battery from draining. I went to the range and was enjoying my sight when suddenly there was no red dot. Prior to this day, the cover had been off for long periods of time. I was sure this is what caused the drainage. I stopped at the store to get a new battery. When I started to install the new battery I noticed that it was now working. I put the new battery in anyway but am not sure what the problem was. I have been very careful and even modified my holster a bit to make sure the cover stays in place whiled holstered. Because of the cover I just couldnt give 5 stars. Works well except for this one occassion.

	Great sight	7/11/2021
excelent red dot for the ruger max9,,fits it like it was custom made for the gun and keeps it small and trim, the cover it comes with for when not in use does not stay on very well but is easily fixed with a heat gun, just get the cover warm enough it almost cant be held but not melted then just squeeze the side of it in just a tad and hold it that way untill it cools or run it under cold water to help cool it and it will fit on the sight tighter and stay there real good.

	Great Sight	4/11/2021
Purchased for my Ruger Max-9, being my first gun to own, I wanted a good sight but not at the expense of the sleek look of my Max-9, and this sight does not do that! it mounted flush and beautifully!! I love it! Its very easy to adjust, to sight it in. The ONLY thing I would recommend they change, and fast, is the optional cover that comes with it, to help save battery life. It does not stay on the sight, its loose enough to fall off at even the slightest angle, I dont even use mine. I think they need to remove it from the box, as it only makes you wonder if it sucks the batteries quickly which I doubt. regardless I absolutely love my sight! Thank You Ruger and SightMark!
