I would persue other sources for this holster |

| I would rate this zero stars but it won't let me.
I own several other holsters ordered from here made by Triple K. I purchased this one expecting the same quality as the rest. Fit and finish was great. However, I was extremely disappointed to reach for my $195 belt the next day and see staining on it from the holster. I contacted Ruger Customer service and provided them pictures and documentation for both the belt and the holster and this was their response:
"Thank you for your email and taking time to send the photo. Our holsters are manufactured by Triple K holsters and are delivered to us pre-packaged. The hand-made leather holsters could possibly be oiled before they are packaged for shipping purposes. I will forward your photos to bring attention to the issue. We do apologize for the inconvenience. "
Basically, were sorry our outsourced holster ruined your belt but we don't care because we didn't build the product.
Most won't care but I know I would have taken heed had someone reported the same. |

Excellent field holster for the Single Six |

| If you're looking for a well made, simple field holster for your Single Six, I wouldn't hesitate to grab this one from Triple K. You will not be able to find a better quality holster for the price. |

Scratches the cylinder, not for odd Single Six revolvers |

| If you own a “hybrid” Ruger Single Six revolver DO NOT BUY. Its too tight on the top and a metal clasps are too low and will scratch your unique gun. Ruger New Model Single Sixes’ with Old Model driftable sights and topstrap will NOT fit.
My 1989 Model 00646 6 1/2” Ruger Single Six NR6-F will not fit. I will not let this holster scratch my gun and rub the bluing off the driftable sights.
The male metal clasp inside the holster always rubs against the cylinder and was too short to fit around the hammer. So I drilled it out and moved the clasp up to the top hole. It worked but my replacement clasps do not fit correctly.
This holster is made from hard leather and barely yields unless heated with a hairdryer. It’s not lined with any kind of soft padding to protect your gun against rubbing. |

| I have a Bisley Single-Six. The thumb strap is a little too wide. After a month of use, I still cannot fasten it while wearing the holster. I can only fasten it with two hands and not attached to my belt.
The holster is well made and looks great. |

| I was eyeballing these for a while and when they went on sale for $39 i pounced like a cougar on a deer! Theyre even better in person! Perfect fit on my single six. Now i want another for the Colorado centennial model! |

| A very nice fit for my single six. Its a beautiful piece of leatherwork. My revolver slips in and out easily, the fit is literally like a glove. This exceeded my expectations. I plan on buying a Triple K belt, based on this purchase. |

| Purchased this holster, as the one offered at the local gun shop from a different manufacturer bound up a bit on the sights of my revolver. This product is a perfect fit. Leather is supple yet plenty sturdy. Finish is great and stitching excellent. A good buy! |

| I bought the holster because it has the Ruger logo. Fit is perfect. The feel of the leather, its smoothness, softness, edge finishing, etc. says very fine holster. I will have to order a Ruger holster for my Super Blackhawk. |
