Detailed Description

Reduced recoil contributes to improved accuracy over a longer string of fire. Brake clocks into position using an easy-to-use external jam nut. Reduces noise and blast to the sides of the shooter. Installs quickly using an 7/8" box wrench or crescent wrench. Manufactured from alloy steel with a matte black finish. Designed to fit the Ruger American Rifle® Ranch chambered in .450 Bushmaster. Threads: 11/16"-24 TPI. Dimensions: 2.2" length, 1.0" diameter. Weight: 3.0 ounces. Made in the USA.

I’ve been using this brake from the beginning haven’t seen a need to remove it. Also there is a review on here where the author mentions wanting to try the brake on a 45/70 while I’m not exactly sure as to the specs of the brake. Please realize that the the diameter of the 450 is .452 not .458 like the 45/70

I still have not got it off it is very stiff like they used loktite or sonthing but otherwise its effective but mine came slightly crooked on my ruger american hence why i need it off

After experiencing how well it worked on the Ruger American, I purchased one to try on my Bushmaster upper. it really tamed it down and tightened groups. will be trying this on a 45/70 lever gun in the future.
