You might not realize this |

The US Mag pouch - military - only accommodates two .45 cal. mags. It will only work with ,i.e. fit, these 7 round mags. The larger cap. mags will not fit into the pouch, that is, it will not close. |

7 Rnd SR1911 Mag not best for rough tactical practice |
11/28/2016 |
7-round Ruger SR1911 mags did not work for me where tactical course instructor drilled on firing 8-rounds on multiple targets, dropping the empty mag to floor to insert a new, full mag to continue shooting. With bumper pads installed, the front lip of the mag follower bounced out of the mag frame almost every time. The fault and embarrassment is mine, however, because the Ruger manual that came with the gun very clearly stated that dropping the mags would cause damage to them. These mags are great and feed without problem as long as carefully handled. Another lesson in reading the manual carefully, just like they tell you to do. Good magazines as long as handled within specification. |

Ruger 7-Round Mags are reliable |
11/3/2016 |
These 7-round mags have hybrid feed lips and a non-tilt follower. I use them in competition in a S&W 1911 and Desert Eagle 1911G as well as the SR1911 and have no failures. I have them loaded for personal defense too because of their reliability. I consider them the equal of Wilsons and Tripps, prefer them to CMCs. |

SR1911 7 Rd mag |
7/19/2016 |
Well Big Jim this 7 Rd mag is great for open or cocoa led carry. My SR1911 came with one of these 7rd mags and one of the 8rd mags with the floor plate. Instead of bothering to complain about this one why dont you just buy the 8rd mag. |

Superb magazine, worthy of John Brownings best |
10/5/2015 |
I just got my SR1911 Talo. Only fired 14 rounds so far - but each mag consisted of 7 different rounds with different profile bullets ranging from ball to soft HP, to high performance premium grade LE/SD HP loads. Every single round fed perfectly, fired perfectly, and ejected perfectly. Always preferred 7 rd GI style mags, and these are the best Ive ever used. Built like tanks, SS, and lock up tight. Im ordering several more. Ruger has another winner. |

I bought two of these mags and they are perfect! I also like the flush fit, factory quality that one would expect from Ruger! Thanks |

Ok mags |

These are good mags in that they load and unload ammo without hanging up. I dont like them because of the 7 round capacity and the flush fit making it harder for a rapid reload and to grab the mag on extraction. Other then that they work well. |

Great Factory Mag! |
3/25/2015 |
This magazine came with my SR1911. Works flawlessly, Havent had a single FTF. Loads hollow bullets. Like the previous review says, it is flush to the firearm. It does not bother me at all, it is my carry mag. One must learn a different loading technique. |

Good 1911 Magazine |
5/15/2014 |
Very Good contruction, recommend for SR1911. Runs as good as Wilsons. Feed lips are as close to original 1911 magazines as I have found...tapered feed lips about 1/2 way. good follower. very stiff spring. ONLY DOWNSIDE IS THE FLUSH FIT ON BOTTOM...NEEDS TO PROTRUDE A LITTLE BIT TO GET A GOOD LOCK-UP. MAYBE SELL A FLOOR PLATE ATTACHMENT OR MAKE THE EXHISTING ONE EXTENDED...then it would be a 5 star magazine |
