| I ordered this threaded barrel from Ruger before I searched the internet where I found it being sold for over $60.00 less, for the exact same package, by multiple online retailers. Don't make the mistake I did. | ||

| I ordered the barrel kit a couple months ago. Shipping time was reasonable. Communication from Ruger was great. Watched my 13 year old install it on the pistol. The included instructions were helpful. Also comes with the 2 tools you will need. As mentioned in another review. There is a thread protector for the barrel. Not for the adapters 1/2X28 threads. My recommendation is to go ahead and order the thread protector Item Number: 90576 when getting the barrel. Save yourself some shipping cost. | ||

| Ordered this so I could attach a silencer to the firearm. Easy to install, all the parts are included to install the barrel. It comes with a thread protector for the barrel, but it does not include a thread protector for the adapter. Which if you just want to leave the adapter on the barrel there is nothing to protect the adapter threads. Carrying the barrel protector, which is small is a hassle and will be lost in a range bag. Getting both protectors would have been nice, But I ordered one for Amazon | ||
